Private Limited Liability Company "Kalnapilio-Tauro Group" is implementing the project “Deployment of Energy Efficiency Equipment at UAB Kalnapilio-Tauro Group” No. 02-090-K-0033.
The objective of the project is to implement energy-efficiency improvement solutions and reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by at least 30% compared to the company’s total emissions.
The result of the project will be the installation of equipment that will enable the company to use energy more efficiently and reduce GHG emissions generated in its production processes.
The project is being implemented in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in Annex 15 of the Project Financing Conditions Description for the activity “Increasing Energy Efficiency in Industrial Enterprises”, under Progress Measure No. 05-001-01-04-02 “Encouraging Businesses to Transition Toward a Climate-Neutral Economy” of the Development Programme, approved by Order No. 4-861 of 11 July 2023 of the Minister of Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania, “On the Approval of the Description of Progress Measure No. 05-001-01-04-02 ‘Encouraging Businesses to Transition Toward a Climate-Neutral Economy’ under the 2022–2030 Economic Transformation and Competitiveness Development Programme.”
Project duration: 31 July 2025 – 31 July 2027
Total project value: EUR 2,122,950.18, of which EUR 689,697.54 is financed by European Union funds.
The Kalnapilis Brewery has been operating continuously since 1902.
